Rapture Iron relies on strategic use of titanium, steel and tungsten to create a high-performance, multi-material iron. Careful analysis and application of each material yields forgiveness and trajectory improvements while creating a face and cavity design that produces a solid, pleasing feel and sound.
Ping Rapture Iron Set:
Multi-material technology merges a stainless steel body, titanium face and a 25 gram tungsten toe weight creating PINGs most forgiving iron set.
Wide Sole design positions the center of gravity further back to promote a high trajectory and lower spin for high soft shots into the green that don’t balloon in the wind.
Deep undercut cavity design is parallel to the ground allowing more mass to be moved away from the face for maximum forgiveness on off-center hits.
Clubhead features Multi Material Technology-stainless steel body and lightweight titanium face-saves 25 grams that is re-distributed in a high density toe weight creating the most forgiving iron in the PING line.
Large Elastomer Custom Tuning Port stabilizes the face by maximizing the surface area it covers and reduces vibration creating exceptional feel and sound.
